Activity, Transcript, and Analytics on the Share Page

The share page now has a proper sidebar. Comments, the transcript, and view analytics live in tabs next to the video instead of below it.

Connect Your Own S3 Storage

You can now connect your own S3-compatible storage bucket to Cap. New recordings upload straight to your bucket, and share pages serve them from there, so you keep full ownership of your data.

Workspaces and Team Sharing

Cap now works for teams. Create a workspace, invite your teammates, and share Caps with everyone in it.

Download Assets button for shared links

• Added a "Download Assets button to shared links. This will download all of the individual files which make up the final video. Can be enabled in Settings > General.
• Fixed bug in editor, where it would sometimes not use current project settings for shareable links.
• Fixed another artifact issue (black/white, flickering) when recording from 1080p monitors.

Screen Record Artifact Bug Fix

• Fixed an issue where the screen recording would show artifacts (black/white, flickering) on certain devices.

Edit During Playback + Bug Fixes

• Edits made during playback are now shown in real-time.
• Clicking on Cap in the macOS dock will bring the main window to the front, reopening if necessary.
• Fixed "Previous Recordings" panic affecting some users.
